“I need to run on my treadmill while I meditate,” a friend said. “I’ve got to do something to distract my mind.

”Sometimes I like to play soothing or spiritual music to keep my mind occupied.Keep it simple. What helps you calm down and relax?Application: Some of us like to meditate first thing in the morning. Others of us prefer the afternoon or night. This value can be applied regularly and as needed.

If getting tense, fearful, and obsessed isn’t helping, how about meditating instead?
