Welcome to the Media Room, where you'll find ucoming events and links to past interviews.  We are doing our best to reconstruct the history of the emergence of the topic of codependency, and more importantly recovery from it, into the links to past interviews.  Those radio shows and newspaper interviews will tell the story not of Melody (although that's in there), but of the birth of learning to take care of ourselves and its integration into our culture.  When I say culture, I don't mean only in the United States.  People in twenty countries around the world are reading about and working on the issues we associate with codependency:  self-care, boundaries, the whole package of behaviors but especially detachment and letting go.  If we look far enough back, we'll see those aren't new topics.  The Eastern World has been teaching non-attachment (the roots of detachment) for eons.  Recovery isn't a religion; it's a way of life.

By the way, when any of the avatars--the little characters representing Melody, Emily the Angel, and myself appear, you can turn us off by clicking on the stop button whenever you'd like us to disappear.  (Too bad everyone doesn't come with one of those in real life!)
